From Cabled Muscle Stimulator to Next-Generation Wireless Device
Tesmed had a well-established product on the market, but with a clear limitation: cables. The challenge was threefold—drastically reduce the form factor, cut component costs, and introduce reliable wireless communication with the electrodes. Quantic Innovations redesigned the electronics from the ground up, developing a new miniaturized mainboard with low-power BLE connectivity and rewritten firmware to maximize battery life.
The result is a smaller, lighter, completely wireless device with optimized production margins. Beyond hardware and firmware development, we coordinated integration with the external mobile app team, defining communication protocols to ensure a seamless, consistent user experience across the entire product ecosystem.
