R&D Acceleration via System-On-Module (SOM)

A leader in industrial automation was seeking to develop a new generation of control systems based on ARM Cortex-M7 architecture. However, they wanted to avoid allocating internal engineering resources to low-level complexities—such as high-frequency hardware design, HAL/Cube library instability, and low-level driver debugging. Quantic Innovations delivered a streamlined alternative: rather than having the client build from scratch, we integrated our proprietary SODIMMF7 System-On-Module and designed a custom carrier board tailored specifically to their required I/Os.

Integrated Hardware, Firmware, and Software

ADEngineering needed to completely overhaul its optical analysis machinery — not through simple component replacement, but through a full architectural redesign. The challenges were specific: surgical control of the light spectrum for photochromic lens testing, automated optical power measurement, and compliance with stringent regulatory standards. Quantic Innovations acted as the sole technology partner, redesigning hardware, firmware, and analysis software into a single, cohesive solution.

Wireless Miniaturization

Tesmed had a well-established product on the market, but with a clear limitation: cables. The challenge was threefold: drastically reduce the form factor, lower component costs, and introduce reliable wireless communication with the electrodes. Quantic Innovations redesigned the electronics from the ground up, developing a new miniaturized motherboard with low-power BLE connectivity and rewritten firmware to maximize battery life.

Scalable Electronics and Design-to-Cost

Gallinea, a leading reference in marine components, commissioned us to revamp the control board for their wiper systems. Applying a Design-to-Cost approach, we redesigned the hardware from the ground up: reduced footprint, optimized BOM, and slashed production costs, all without compromising on the quality required for demanding marine environments.
